About

The practice
and the person.

Atelier Designa is led by Brice Pannetier — architectural designer, computational design specialist, and founder of the practice. Based in Queensland, operating globally.

Brice
Pannetier

Founder & Director · Atelier Designa Pty Ltd

Brice has approximately 15 years of experience working across major public, sports, and infrastructure-led projects — supporting design teams from masterplanning and concept design through to detailed coordination and construction-stage delivery.

His experience includes extensive involvement in stadium and venue projects where complex geometry, performance requirements and delivery constraints must be resolved early to de-risk project outcomes.

As a specialist consultant, Brice works closely with architectural and multidisciplinary teams during the early phases of design — providing computational design leadership, option testing, sustainability studies, and construction-informed judgement. His role focuses on clarifying geometry, system logic, and interfaces, ensuring design intent can be carried forward coherently from concept to delivery.

Specialist Capability

Key skills.

Applied across competition bids, feasibility studies, and multi-year delivery-stage support within advanced BIM environments.

Early-Stage Architectural Design
Expertise in concept and feasibility design for complex, high-risk projects where early decisions have disproportionate downstream impact.
Computational Design
Advanced parametric modelling and option testing to support informed design decisions. Selective use of AI-assisted workflows.
Stadiums & Large-Scale Venues
Deep experience across sports venues and major civic infrastructure — Olympic scale through to feasibility and refurbishment.
Façade & Envelope Strategy
Development of robust architectural systems balancing design intent, constructability, performance, and procurement logic.
Geometry Rationalisation
Translating complex forms into clear, coordinated, and deliverable geometry — from global massing to panel-level resolution.
Environmental Performance
Simulating climatic data on geometry and space to support data-driven decisions and guide envelope and system iterations.
Construction-Informed Judgement
Applying delivery-stage experience to de-risk early design decisions before fabrication and procurement commitments are made.
Multi-Disciplinary Coordination
Effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants — operating inside the team, not alongside it.
Competition & Bid-Stage Support
Rapid iteration, option comparison, and design clarity under tight deadlines and high-stakes programme conditions.

"His work is at a global standard of excellence, and he possesses expert knowledge in computational design, fabrication, analytical tools and representation that is highly desirable."
